COEP Technological University has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sancheti Advanced Orthocare Hospital and Sancheti Institute for Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation to strengthen healthcare support and improve medical accessibility for students, alumni, faculty, staff, and their dependents.
The collaboration aims to provide timely and structured medical assistance through OPD and IPD services, emergency care support, and streamlined room allocation facilities, ensuring easier access to quality healthcare for the COEP community. With the hospital located in close proximity to the University hostels, this partnership is expected to play an important role in supporting student welfare and overall campus well-being. The MoU also envisions organizing health awareness sessions, preventive care initiatives, and continuous educational interactions to promote healthcare awareness and a stronger culture of wellness within the University.
The MoU was formalized in the presence of Prof. Sunil Bhirud, Hon. Vice-Chancellor, COEP Technological University, Dr. D. N. Sonawane, Registrar, Mr. Mahajan, Dr. M. P. Khond, Dr. M. R. Shindikar and Mrs. Aarti A. Paygude from COEP Technological University.
Representing Sancheti were Dr. Parag Sancheti, Mrs. Rupal Sancheti, Dr. Yashvanth Shivanna, Mrs. Suneetha Rocha, and Mr. Pratik Kondhalkar, along with senior representatives from the institution.
This collaboration marks an important step towards building a stronger support ecosystem at COEP Tech, reinforcing the shared commitment of both institutions towards health, care, and the overall well-being of the academic community.
