With the continued support and guidance of the Higher and Technical Education Department, Government of Maharashtra, COEP Technological University (COEP Tech) remains committed to equipping students with industry-relevant technical knowledge and practical skills.
In this endeavour, COEP Tech signed an MoU with HNI GBSC India Pvt. Ltd. to develop specialised programmes in product design and development, data engineering and data analytics, alongside technical consultancy, live industry projects and student internships. The collaboration will strengthen students’ industry readiness while enabling the company to benefit from COEP Tech’s technical expertise, customised training and project-based solutions.
In the presence of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sunil Bhirud, the MoU was signed by Mr. Vidyasagar Galatagi, MD & Head – HNI GBSC India Pvt. Ltd. and Dr. D. N. Sonawane, Registrar, COEP Tech.
Representing COEP Tech were Prof. Parag A. Sadgir, Dr. S. P. Mahajan, Dr. Sandeep S. Anasane, Dr. Jayant S. Karajagikar and Dr. Manisha G. Kulthe.
HNI GBSC India Pvt. Ltd. was represented by Ms. Papiya Kar, Ms. Anagha Jadhav, Mr. Mohammed Gouse and Ms. Aparajita Sen.
Through this partnership, the Department of Manufacturing Engineering and Industrial Management at COEP Technological University are supporting employees upskilling at HNI GBSC India Pvt. Ltd. in product design and development, while providing students with industry-oriented learning and practical exposure.
The collaboration aims to strengthen industry-academia ties and promote mutual growth through technical expertise and skill development.
