COEP Technological University inaugurated the Siemens SAMBHAV Connected Smart Factory Lab in the Department of Mechanical Engineering on 30th June 2026, under its MoU with Siemens Industry Software (India) Pvt. Ltd., strengthening industry-academia collaboration in advanced manufacturing technologies.
The lab is designed to equip students with practical exposure to Industry 4.0 technologies, including Digital Twin, Industrial Automation, Robotics, Simulation, IoT, and Smart Production Systems, creating an ecosystem where engineering concepts can be transformed into real-world manufacturing solutions. Through this facility, students will gain hands-on experience in manufacturing workflows, process optimization, and digital transformation tools-enhancing their technical expertise, innovation capabilities, and industry readiness.
3D Engineering Automation LLP served as the execution partner for the establishment of the Siemens SAMBHAV Connected Smart Factory Lab, supporting the implementation and integration of the lab’s advanced Industry 4.0 technologies.
