Mr. Arjun Singh Lodhi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering (Planning) at COEP Technological University, Pune. He is a Civil Engineer, Urban Planner and Transport Planning researcher with academic and applied experience in public transportation, traffic engineering, road safety, junction design, sustainable urban mobility and urban infrastructure planning.

He is submitted a PhD in Transport Planning from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal. He completed his M.Plan in Urban Planning from MANIT Bhopal and Bachelor of Civil Engineering from ITM Universe, Gwalior, affiliated with RGPV Bhopal.

His professional experience includes teaching, research, consultancy and field-based transportation studies. He has contributed to research and consultancy projects related to traffic management, junction improvement, parking planning, public transport demand analysis, accident prevention and blackspot improvement. His academic interests include sustainable mobility, public transport user satisfaction, intelligent transportation systems, traffic modelling and road safety.

His current and future research interests include the multidisciplinary application of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Big Data Analytics in urban and transport planning. He aims to apply data-driven approaches to travel-demand forecasting, traffic management, road safety, public transportation, infrastructure planning, smart cities and sustainable urban development.
