Honouring the Life & Legacy of Late Dr. Gauri Shah..
On 23rd July 2025, we came together to pay tribute to one of COEP Technological University’s most distinguished alumnus — Late Dr. Gauri Shah (B.Tech, 1998 – Computer Engineering) — on the occasion of her 50th birthday.
In a deeply moving ceremony, the Statue / Memory Wall was unveiled at the Dr. Gauri Shah Computer Engineering Department & Library Building, COEP Tech. This memorial stands as a lasting tribute to her excellence, dedication, and the indelible mark she left on the world.
The event also witnessed the handing over of the newly developed 3rd & 4th floors to the Computer Engineering Department, and the distribution of academic prizes to meritorious B.Tech students — continuing her legacy of excellence in education.
We were honoured by the gracious presence of Mrs. Rajni Shah and Ms. Reema Shah, who unveiled the statue. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Bharat Gite, President, Alumni Association and Member of the BOG; Dr. Sunil Bhirud, Vice Chancellor, COEP Tech; Dr. Dayaram Sonawane, Registrar, Dr. Sujit Pardeshi, Hon. Secretary, Alumni Association; Members of the BOG Mr. Amit Paranjape and Mr. Anup Sabale, along with senior functionaries of COEP Tech and several esteemed alumni and guests who joined us in celebrating the enduring legacy of Dr. Gauri Shah.
