COEP Technological University, Pune has signed an MoU with Pune Institute of Computer Technology (PICT), paving the way for a meaningful collaboration in academics, research, and innovation. The MoU focuses on:
Knowledge & Curriculum Development – Co-developing advanced technical curriculum, sharing best practices, and enhancing learning for students and faculty.
Exchange & Engagement – Facilitating two-way exchange of faculty, researchers, guest speakers, and organizing FDPs, workshops, and training sessions.
Research & Innovation – Joint research projects, publications, patents, consultancy assignments, and participation in hackathons, innovation challenges, and national missions like Smart India Hackathon and Unnat Bharat Abhiyan.
Industry & Student Opportunities – Collaborative industry projects, internships, placements, and skill development programs.
Shared Resources & Ecosystems – Co-incubation, mentorship, and sharing of labs and resources to strengthen innovation ecosystems.
The MoU was signed today on 25th September 2025 in the presence of Prof. Sunil Bhirud, Vice Chancellor, COEP Technological University, Dr. D. N. Sonawane, Registrar, senior functionaries from COEP Tech, Prof. Sanjay Gandhe, Principal, PICT, and Dr. Mousami Munot. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to academic excellence, research, and innovation for the benefit of both institutions.
