Important Dates for MTech M Planning Admissions (Detailed Revised Schedule)

CAP Round-I

Seat Allotment:

Important Instructions for CAP Round-I:

• Seat acceptance has started and will remain open up to July 30, 2025, at 3:00 PM. Candidates are requested to accept the allotted seat through their login. This is mandatory to participate in CAP Round -I and CAP Round-II. 
• The candidate who has been allotted a seat in CAP Round-I, this step is mandatory to complete seat acceptance (Freeze or Betterment) through their Login. A candidate who will accept the seat with the Freeze option ( OR a candidate has been allotted a seat of his/her first preference in the option form), then he/she must confirm his/her admission by paying the requisite fees and by submitting the required original documents to the University as per the declared schedule. If such candidates fail to report for confirmation of their admission at the University, such candidates will be disqualified from CAP Round-I and CAP Round-II
• The admission committee at COEP will verify the required documents (original documents as per the photocopies of the required documents uploaded by the candidate), and then the candidate has to submit a demand draft of the requisite fees, after which the admission will be confirmed through the online portal. 
• If a candidate appears for confirmation of admission in the university by self-verifying the allotted seat to him/her by wrongly approving details filled in during submission of the application, admission of such a candidate will not be confirmed. Moreover, allotment of such seats stands cancelled, and such candidates can participate in subsequent rounds based on his/her merit. 
• Reporting to COEP Technological University for the Confirmation of Admission by submitting the required original documents after payment of the requisite admission fees, and by reporting in person to COEP Technological University. Candidates must carry a Demand Draft (DD) of the requisite fees (as applicable and mentioned in the fee structure) in the name of “COEP Technological University”, payable at Pune, and required Original documents (along with two sets of photocopies). No other mode of payment will be accepted at the time of admission.

Notice for Working Professional Candidates:

1. Working professional candidates need not to fill-up the Option Form.
2. Admissions to Working professional MTech Programmes, namely Data Sciences and Automotive Systems, will be conducted through the counselling round (in-person) at COEP Technological University
3. The counselling round will be conducted on 02/08/2025 at 10.00 AM in the Congnizant Lab, Academic Complex Building
4. Reporting to COEP Technological University for the Counseling and Confirmation of Admission by submitting the required original documents after payment of the requisite admission fees, and by reporting in person to COEP Technological University.
5. Candidates must carry a Demand Draft of the requisite fees (as applicable and mentioned in the fee structure) in the name of “COEP Technological University”, payable at Pune. No other mode of payment will be accepted at the time of admission.

Important Instruction:

• Submission of grievances, if any, for all types of Candidates:

  • Candidate shall raise the Grievance about the correction required in the data displayed in the provisional merit list through his/her Login.
  • The application of such candidates shall be reverted to the candidate in his/her Login for rectification.
  • The candidate shall upload the requisite documents to substantiate the claim for any correction/ concession.
  • The status of acceptance/rejection of the Grievance raised by the candidate shall be available in the candidate’s Login along with the latest receipt cum Acknowledgment.

CAP Round-IV (For Candidates without GATE and Non-Sponsored)

• Candidates who applied through the Non-GATE and Non-sponsored category must appear for the University Common Entrance Test (UCET) to get admission to the vacant seats after CAP Round III. 
  
• The UCET exam is multiple-choice, and candidates must write the correct answer(s) for every question. The UCET Question Paper has two sections, Applied Mathematics and department-specific, based on the GATE 2024 Syllabus.
